Thank you so much to everyone that joined us for the SWC Charity event on Friday 17th September.
We laughed, we cried and we walked away richer for having listened to the two inspiring speakers for the morning.
Both ladies have experienced very different challenges in their lives, but both shared a common themeโฆ

Vicky Pellowe, thank you for sharing your very moving story on being diagnosed with cancer.
The journey from diagnosis, to pressing โpauseโ on life through treatment, to trying to find โnormalโ again when in remission.

And to Sarah Rusbatch , for your entertaining and honest story going from a party girl in the UK, to now helping women all around the globe change their relationship with alcohol and find different coping mechanisms to deal with their stress and overwhelm.
For encouraging us to be mindful of our relationship with alcohol and be aware of โis it taking more from us than itโs givingโ
And for teaching us the importance of supporting family and friends that choose not to drink.
And to Natasha from Look Good Feel Better – the recipient of funds raised from the morning – thank you for the work that your organization do in teaching cancer patients how to manage their appearance-related side-effects caused by their treatment. From hosting workshops for make up, to delivering home care confidence kits.
It is an honor and a privilege to be able to host these mornings, to give others a platform to share their stories, and to bring people together for a morning of community and connection. Thank you to everyone that supported and sponsored the event, and a big thank you to everyone that attended and made the morning so special.
Collectively from ticket sales and the raffle the money donated will help 8 people will directly benefit from the Look Good Feel Better confidence building workshops
